The Lewis Strong Scholarship is given yearly to honor the life of Peggy Lewis and her passion for education. Peggy’s love for education was shown in her 20 plus years of working in the Lehi High School Counseling Department as the Scholarship Specialist. After being diagnosed with Stage 4 Bladder Cancer, Peggy wanted to give back to those she loved helping most, high school students. Peggy created the Lewis Strong Scholarship, and though she lost her battle with cancer in 2018, Peggy will continue on in helping individual students pursue a higher education.
